I need help

Postby Oradea » Fri Apr 06, 2007 1:27 pm

I hope Ive posted this in the right place, anyway here goes.

I have a sharp viewcam Z VL-Z900 Camcorder, Japanese model.
I bought it Second hand, and didnt get the CD software. I had problems connecting it to my English OS PC.
I eventually bought a card reader, so that fixed getting the photos onto the PC.
What Id like to do now, is upload video content from it to the PC, but whatever program I use, it wont recognise/Pick up the camera.

I have searched all the obvious places like download.com for software to help me, but I havent come up with a working solution.

If anyone could help me out here, I would be much obliged.
Im not technically gifted, so any lengthy technological directions would more than likely be lost on this poor soul.

You might want to say what kind of PC set up you have (what OS, what version, do you have firewire ports. ect)...While I'm sure someone else will have a more useful solution, a lo_tech solution would be bug a friend with a stand alone DVD recorder...Plug it into the DVD recorder, record it to DVD and then rip the video files on the DVD to your PC
