I dropped my phone when I was stumbling home drunk last night. I guess I'll go look for it now but I'll probably have to buy a new one. I can't wait a couple of days to see if it turns up because I use it for business. Now I don't know most people's phone numbers and there were some pretty cool pics on there too. God dammit.

Yeah, that fucking sucks; mine was stolen a couple years back.. Think of it as a 'fresh start'.

Did you take a taxi? I left mine in a taxi once. Called the taxi company and they had it; sent it to me. Arrived the next day..

Or, you could retrace your steps. Are there areas you remember trying to use it, digging in your bag for something else, etc.?

Have you tried ringing it? Some helpful person may have picked it up and be waiting for the owner to call.

I did try calling and I went to the nearest koban. They didn't even ask for my gaijin card. They must realize I'm the lovable town drunk.

Anyway, I just got a new phone and it didn't cost me anything. I hope the old one turns up though. I want the phone book. I kept meaning to make a back up copy but you know how that is.
