Shanghai Daily: NHK to show Chinese cartoon in Japan
JAPANESE broadcasting company NHK yesterday reached a deal with a Chinese company in Shenzhen, southern Guangdong Province, to present a Chinese-made cartoon to Japanese viewers. "This is the first ever agreement enabling an original Chinese cartoon to debut in the international market," said Cai Daming, an official of the Yijing National Cartoon and Animation Industry Base. "Pacoo Fruit Tribe," produced by Dreamspace Digital Entertainment Co, based in Guangzhou, features a group of colorful fruit dolls of different personalities.
