Speed Racer Given the Green Light

A live action version of Speed Racer has been given the go ahead. Vince Vaughn sold Warner Bros. his concept for the movie and will Executive Produce the project.

I just hope they stick to the poor 60's plot and not use the even more stupid 90's plot where they could travel through time........ TRAVEL THROUGH TIME!!!! WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? A race with a DeLorean?
