"Pole Distributor"
Sounds like a good job description for the guy at the host bar that decides who sits with the female customers.

She can come to my place for some "pole dancing" anytime

Far from a recent phenomenon, I think "pole dancing" has been popular for centuries, if not millenia ;)

Two possible scenarios come to mind: 1) a room full of hot J-babes wearing thongs and sliding up and down a pole to sexy music :love2:

and

2) a room full of obatarians wearing mumus and sliding up and down a pole to sexy music. :crazy3::puke:

Either could be the case depending on how popular this fad becomes.

It's only natural for pole dancing to become popular in Japan. After all, Izanagi and Izanami circled a pole before mating and giving birth to the islands of Japan and the gods and all that good stuff. (if any of you wish to recreate this event, take care to remember that it is proper that the male greet the female first, lest the female give birth to deformed leech baby).

I have a friend at work taking these classes for exercise. I asked if I could watch the 'final exam'; 'No men are allowed'!.. But she said for the final exam they can dress in 'special uniforms'..

For the record, she has lost weight and looks very nice.. But I liked her 'before' anyway. ;)

I went. Five girls, maybe 4 minutes each. The transition between girls at the pole was sort of lesbo-ish. Not bad.

The "pole dancing" was kind of lame, but the classic was at the end of the video. The guy picks up trash someone threw out of their car, pulls alongside them on his scooter and throws it back in their window - then scoots away.
I've thought of doing something like that whenever I see a sarariman toss his half-smoked cigarette on the pavement in front of me...

Mordeth13 (the dude who made & posted the video) has a bit of an Internet following. He's been posting motorcycling videos on Youtube (and other video sites) for years, and as of late has a motorcycling forum.

Recently, he's been the topic of a scandalous news report out of Taiwan (his home for the last 10 or so years)...

Motorcycle race video sparks anger

Despite many of his videos featuring locals doing outrageous driving and breaking various traffic laws (he's not out there campainging against the crazy Taiwanese drivers, merely noting what it's like where he lives), the media has picked up the one where he and another foreigner are street racing a bit.
