I'm not a fat evil feminist nazi white woman. I am white, and sure I'm a feminist. I've been married to a Japanese guy for over 5 years now. Why did I choose a Japanese guy? It was not because he was Japanese. It's because we suit each other and can be partners. I certainly have never had an aversion to dating gaijin men and have dated a few in my time - but the boy I married just worked out. I don't agree with the stereotypes often stated about Japanese men and have said so in other threads. I did not exclusively date Japanese men before I met him. But in the percentage game - I was more likely to met a Japanese guy I connected with here in Japan than a foreign one. For other women it works out differently.

When my wife and I got married about 10 years ago we had quite an even split of the housework. We also were both working.
