Gang Fight!

Postby Mulboyne » Fri Jul 20, 2007 9:05 am

[floatr]Image[/floatr]Yomiuri: 42 teens booked over brawl with steel pipes
Seven teens were arrested and papers were sent to prosecutors on 35 others on suspicion of assembling weapons for a gang fight in Kawachi-Nagano, Osaka Prefecture, police said Thursday. According to the Osaka prefectural police, a group of 22 boys aged 16 to 17 years old from Kawachi-Nagano, and a group of 20 boys of the same age from Tondabayashi, both in the prefecture, gathered in a restaurant parking lot in Kawachi-Nagano at 12:45 a.m. on May 6, and fought each other with steel pipes, metal bats and other weapons. Seven of the boys sustained broken bones while nine others had minor injuries, police said.

Two very rough areas of town... Southern Osaka is not a good place to live.
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death

Man, I would have paid to see the film on that. Thats just insane. But then again, Japanese seem to like to fight a lot, they don't even need a reason.

Last week alone I must have seen 8 all out fights, pools of blood all over the place.

One incident was particularly baffling, i was driving by a busy street and as I turned the corner a teenager just grabbed some innocent salaryman walking down the street and threw him into a store window (was in traffic). He did this right in front of a cop who actually just kept driving by and didn't even bother to stop even though he was behind me and saw the whole thing go down.

The kid got away on foot "walking" and was never caught. The salaryman was sent off to the hospital with some nasty lacerations. This guy was totally innocent I assure, he was walking down the street and was basically attacked.

You know, I never once saw a fight go down in NYC or anywhere else I've ever lived except for Japan. Now that I think about it I also never had anything stolen from me except in Japan.

Wait until the Latino gangs show up..like MS13, 18...then you will see how much you have misunderstood Osaka-jin and lesser gangs of Japan. :(

Japan is still a peaceful place.....that is one of the things I love about Japan. :)

Damn, Fukuoka must be real different from Tokyo.

Anyway, you must have lived in the new, post- Giuliani, boring NYC. I miss the real NY.

Maybe some J-guys are finally getting balls again. I agree w/ Succubus - having been an ex-EXP (L128) I can honestly say Japan is a pretty well casterated country. One time in Shibuya I pulled up next to some 'homez' riding high in their 66 Impala that daddy bought. It was very weird, their 'colors' didn't jive at all with their ride, and even with each other. Surreal. I was on my scooter and did a fake reach and capped them. They just sat there and stared - like uh - 'were we just owned??' . F*ing poser idiots - I was so tempted to key their ride.

Personally I think these guys are great. I don't live in the USA so I probably have a distorted view on things. Where I live, USA ghetto influenced "gangsters" are all over the place. Of course, they're not really ghetto because we have nothing near the extreme poverty and harsh life of those places. But they watch their MTV rap videos, presume this is good hip-hop (my arse), and pretend they're just like the guys they see on TV. They love to pick fights with easy targets whenever they get the chance, they do petty crimes and area a general nuisance.

For lots of kids who live in a rich country where there are no real ghettos, MTV's rap videos are very inspiring. People like me couldn't possibly imagine what those ghettos are really like, all we know about them is from what we see on TV. So basically I think, whats the fucking harm that they go so far to transform themselves into hip hop charicatures? At least they don't act like a bunch of chavs.

Be thankful Holland doesn't have any. ;) We got tokkies and kampers instead.
