Giant Japanese Salamander

Shortly after little Claire posed for this photo with the Japanese salamander, the amphibian lunged out of the water and. . .

Don't worry. Little Clair survived the model salamander attack.

I was amazed when I took Ms. Tsuru to a Dutch museum of nature for the first time. When we got to the sea-life and amphibious section she kept going on about how delicious everything looked.

Yeah, apparently Japanese people start watering at the mouth when they go to aquariums. Fucking weird. I love steak but I don't get a food hard-on when I see a cow.

Did anyone else see those ads on the trains for the Okinawa aquarium last year? It had a picture of an ugly ass moray eel asking if it looked like something you want to eat.


Anyway, I wonder what those giant salamanders eat.
