If you're Tokyo or Osaka this saturday and are interested in hardcore techno (gabber) and related electronica genres, you should check out The Day of Hardcore 2007. Pretty much every DJ related to the scene will be playing at either one of the parties.

Some time ago I went to see Oven-axx and DJ Scotch Egg which was a laugh. First they played headsplitting hardcore on their laptops and first generation Gameboys while screaming at the top of their voices. Afterwards they sung guns n'roses songs for 45 minutes while being pissed out of their minds. A great evening.

Scotch Egg is a right crack.

There isn't enough breakcore in Japan though. There is a small scene in Osaka, but even there it's very limited.
