I don't know about you guys, but some of the molar dentistry I've seen in Japan made me wonder why dentists didn't just pull everything out the first time and just build a completely new set of indestructible dentures that last a lifetime.

Can you imagine some American dad taking his little girl to a festival and letting his daughter stick something like that in her mouth? Trippy stuff. The only one looking concerned is the little sister?

As far as I know....dentistry can be expensive.....but c'mon, even in poor countries people have better teeth than a lot of japanese (most of the japanese I know). Also they told me that the most expensive "luxury" they could'nt afford was "braces" ....

One of the differences between the US and Japan when it comes to dental care, as Japanese dentist explained to me, is that Japanese dental insurance only kicks in when you have a problem. In the US dental insurance covers preventative care -- Your twice-a-year check up for cleanings and assessments. I guess if the insurance doesn't cover anything until it hurts it is already too late.

Aw, don't worry yourself about the parenting skills of J-fathers. That dude in the background probably isn't her father, he's a producer of videos like this.

That's meth mouth.

I think this is one time where the Japanese developed something (fucked up teeth) and the Americans perfected it.

Why are they all wearing shoes inside? Ah, I understand now. The sacred Japanese taking the shoes off inside ritual is only for the peasants.

While the US national anti-drug office is still missing the mark
[YT]fY1Pl1zGowc[/YT]

Some states where meth is a huge problem are doing their own...These ads are fairly devastating and pretty brutal by US ad standards...not very often do you have US ad VO's saying 'I wished I had been in car wreck and died or been paralyzed'...and almost all of them touch on meth's impact on appearance

Thanks for the clips. However, this is the same lame scare campaign shit as we always see, and as we know it doesn't work. Kids will try drugs and not experience these things and when they don't, they will have a hard time seeing what the real dangers of drug use is and this leads to them not being careful when using drugs.

I would rather see governments try to get kids to take better care of themselves when using drugs and telling them of the real dangers instead of producing shit like those videos. Most people who use drugs do not get addicted or turn into crackwhores...but there are other dangers that everyone who chooses to take mindaltering substances should be aware of.
