Tokyo Summerland Wave Pool
[YT]inA-36YRV0Y[/YT]

While Taro has previously posted some pics of similar summer time J pool fun, the wave action in this video really takes it to a whole new level of something.

Wow.. the wave propagates well but the amplitude decreases rapidly. It is like there is a huge damping field pressing down on the wave.

Aren't there capacity laws in this country? I swear its a national sport to see how many people they can shove into whatever space be it a train, pool, elevator, city etc.

I dont mind the crowds day to day but when Im on vacation I need my space so I dont know how those people can stand it. I guess they just dont care.

Over on the Japanese blogs, there's lots of whining about this is a video of a
public pool in Chongqing, China. Other Japanese are saying it's CHIBIKKO pool in Yoshino Nara.
http://www.town.yoshino.nara.jp/undou/

Gee, I beginning to doubt my own post: 1 swimming pool, 48 lifeguards (08-22-2005).

However, a quick google shows photos of this Tokyo Summerland Wave Pool.

Never criticize anyone until you've walked several kilometres in their shoes.
Because

1. You're now several kilometres away; and

2. You've got their shoes.

I don't get it, every single person has a tube float. Do none of them know how to swim? Not that they actually could swim in those crowded conditions, but at least they could float or tread water on their own. It would be much less crowded without all the stupid tubes.

Don't forget the J-residual seminal discharge and J-Aunt Flowage. That's one hell of a scary broth that be cooking there.

I was just rabble rousing! You and me both know that while a little Japanese goes a long way to set the hook when a J-bird's got the fever, it sure as hell's not what keeps 'em coming 'round

Gittin' back on topic, there are far too many banana-hammocks at J-pools :(
