"As You Like It" In Japan

Director Kenneth Branagh's film version of Shakespeare's "As You Like It" sets the play in 19th century Japan. The US premiere will be today on HBO since the channel financed the project. Here are some stills from the production.

I just read about this in the newspaper yesterday for the first time.

Branagh has made some great renditions of the Bard's work IMO.
I will not abide ignorant intolerance just for the sake of getting along.
