I had been on a vacation in Bali 15 years ago where I met a Thai girl who worked at the Club Med. It was a one week vacation. 15 years later, last week, she somehow searches my name on the Internet and tracks me down at work. Lots of talking and I told her I was getting married for the second time this summer to a Japanese girl. She sent me an e-mail about her experience and what she saw at the Club Med. I just copied and pasted part of the e-mail that I want to share with you guys. By the way, in Club Med parlance "GO" means the workers at the club and "GM" means the guests. She wrote this because I said I am getting married to a Japanese girl so be careful.

Yeah, yeah, "wink" or not, this is an ignorant statement based on a stereotype. In reality, Thai girls do not deserve the reputation they have. I tend to agree with Jack that J-Girls have a much more demonstrated record of sluttiness (not necessarily a bad thing, but it's something I've observed too).

I think that calling anybody a slut is un-necessary in this day and age. This usually happens when people are threatened by a female who is in control of her sexuality and it used to put her down. Rather than hide behind a veil of double standards and archaic misogeny, we should be embracing and encouraging women to feel good about themselves and their sexuality.. lets face it - what have you got to lose?
