Honestly though, with safe search on most of the sites with these type of pics are blocked anyway.

That's true, especially as the summer typhoon season is essentially over. Ever tried to walk to your favorite hostess bar with an erection in the middle of a typhoon? It's not as easy as it sounds.

Some trivia rumour. She was originally slated to play the in

Ahh, I know of Hsu Chi, but didn't think of her. There's also Vivian Hsu but a lot of people don't like how "young" she looks.

My girlfriend in college hated hated Hsu Chi because she shared the same last name (Hsu) and looked a lot like her (enough that other Taiwanese and Chinese would ask if she was related even though Hsu is a fairly common name) and she didn't like being thought of as being in anyway related to someone she thought was famous mainly only because she would get naked front of the camera. :p

If the above rumor is true, I hope Hsu Chi fired the manager :)

Probably more of a tribute to the huge popularity of K-dramas, etc. in China than anything else - my guess that's where there girls got their fashion look from.

Breaking news flash . . . Girls wear make-up . . .

Eye jobs? No.

Make-up can hide superficial blemishes, but nothing can hide a person's ugly nature. His character flaws will always come to the surface.

Could be. It's a cute look but it always weirds me out just how much some Korean girls' faces look when they all do the same makeup/plastic surgery.

Like number 85, the girl to her far left with the cap and the girl left-behind her with the pink shirt.

Different post, but the kissy girls are quite nice. The auto show girl looks Japanese :p

Well there's no shortage of J-girls getting their eyes done so that they look like living incarnations of manga dolls. Starting with Ayumi Hamasaki.

Korea's a popular destination for such work. Cheaper than Japan.

K-girls used to go completely overboard with the make-up - white face and dark lipstick - rather scary looking. Now it seems that it's the J-girls that are piling it on.

Whereas there is no lack of similar fashions/styles etc. here, I don't often run into situations where I can pick 3 or 4 random girls out of a crowd whose actual faces (overall structure and such, not just make up, or just certain areas, e.g. a similar eye or nosejob but an amazing overall similarity) look so much alike they could be closely related. In Korea (Seoul anyway) it's fairly common. So I figure there is either a real lack of variety in plastic surgery preferences or the gene pool, or possibly an amazing number of twins/triplets etc. :)

On a slightly unrelated note, if you happen to know someplace where there are tons of girls who look like Hamasaki, feel free to let me know :p

Typhoon wrote:K-girls used to go completely overboard with the make-up - white face and dark lipstick - rather scary looking. Now it seems that it's the J-girls that are piling it on.

I think I have mentioned before, but Japanese women's proficiency with makeup actually scares me. A lot of them are just too good.

I do agree that there seem to be ever increasing numbers og women with it pancaked on though (where you can see a visible difference in elevation between the end of an application of foundation and actual skin ). I've never much cared for makeup anyway, I much prefer women who look good (to me) with no makeup at all. I hate the fact that my wife feels the need to put on makeup to go to the grocery store, I actually think she looks better without it.

You can still see a lot of the pancake makeup with some Korean women as well however. I think recent changes are (much like Japan) driven by the popular celebrities at the time and a lot of the hot, young Korean female celebrities seem to be adopting a variation of the Japanese take on U.S. hip-hop culture.

Sorry, wasn't very clear there. I didn't mean I suspected she actually was Japanese, just I thought she looked very Japanese. Not actually questioning/challenging the classification just an observation. :)

Although the pedant in me feels the need to point out that the poster behind her doesn't show anything except she is standing in front of a Taiwanese poster :p

Oh, and yes, she is damn cute. Or as my uncle is extraordinarily fond of saying "I wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating cookies".
