Japanese women gangraped in India.

NEW DELHI: The Delhi airport police have registered a Zero First Information Report following allegations by two young Japanese women that they were kept in confinement for three days and criminally assaulted by at least three men in Agra.

In a restaurant there, they came across two persons, identified as Raees and Sunny, with whom they became friendly as Sunny could speak Japanese well. They had a drinking session, following which the two women were allegedly assaulted by the two. The next day, another man joined the culprits and allegedly assaulted them again and threatened to kill them if they tried to escape.More

I hate to be suspicious of these types of allegations, as rape is a horrible offense, but still it remains sad that so many have to be called into questionin a lot of areas.

The statement ".....The victims have handed over to the police the memory card of a mobile phone by which they had taken the photographs of some of the culprits...." rings all sorts of bells in the column of suspect.

Why were the culprits so stupid, immature, or unconcerned that they would allow cell phone photographs, no matter how covert, or for that matter if the girls were truly confined, allow them to keep their keitais at all.

There maybe proper explanations, but unfortunately, this story does not have a good ring to it.

True that does seem suspicious.
They have caught two of the suspects. Seems they laced the girls drinks.
In India it's legal to use truth serum... I wonder if it will be used in this case.

2 held for tourist rape

Agra, Sept. 24 (Agencies): Two persons were arrested today in connection with the alleged rape of two Japanese tourists last week.

The duo, whom police identified as Rais and Rajan, were being interrogated and would be produced before a magistrate. Rajan is the brother of Sunny, one of the accused. The other was Alias.

They allegedly offered the tourists drug-laced drinks, raped them in a hotel and confined them for three days. MORE

It always amazes me how obtuse Japanese girls can be while traveling.

What really bothers me about this whole ordeal is that the girls are either too naive...or just way too polite not to refuse drinks.

It's sad that this happens to them...but c'mon...don't they read travel guides...or maybe the books dont have the : Dangers and annoyances section!

Sad story indeed!

This happens in Japan too. I've heard from some locals that in Okinawa there are dance clubs run by the brothers. You don't wanna go in their if your tan ain't up to snuff. Young Tokyo tourist J-lo wannabes are welcomed. They get their Kahlua milk with a little rohypnol splash, then carried to a waiting car where they run a train. Girl gets dumped disoriented on the street, and doesn't really snap outta the fog for a while. When she realizes what happened, she quietly slinks home and tries to bury the past.

One on occasion near Nagoya, an English friend took a drink from a Japanese girl he knew. She was passing it on, after getting it from a J-guy that wanted to get in her pants. She wasn't into it, so instead of turning him down flat, just passed the free drink onto a friend. That friend (a fairly burly fellow, experienced drinker) went home, passed out in his genkan, and didn't wake up for 12 hours. His office got in touch with the landlord who unlocked the door and found him after he'd missed a day at work. Went to the doc, who said he'd likely been drugged. He was real fuzzy for hours after he got woke up, and he hadn't had much that night. It happens all over.

It actually happened NEAR Nagoya, in a bedroom community called Gifu. Club Leon. This was several years ago, so dunno if the place is still open. Haven't partied in that town in years.

You know, if they put stuff like this in travel guides, there would probably be some people who would go there looking for this sort of trouble.

Happens in Canada too. J-girls are especially sought after by those who know because they never (seldom) report to police even after getting raped. When I hear Japanese girls hear talking about going to clubs I think to myself "here comes trouble". They get in cars and go to the homes of people they don't know in a city that they don't know. You almost never see that behaviour with other people.

Do some of you guys really are THAT stupid or you just play it dumb? Read my post and you will see that the critical statement was getting in a car with a stranger "in a city that they don't even know". There is a difference between two locals hitting it on and shagging that night and a foreigner who doesn't know where she is.

Hate to tell you the sad truth, Take....at least 75% of the J-girls ages 20-60 have been with a foreigner sexually, before and during their marriage to a Crysanthenum brother. The girls know they can completely get their freak on with a gaijin, whereas they have to be real "inexperienced" with the J-guy so as not to make him orgasm after 10 seconds or 3 pumps. Gotta keep that Crysanthenumb ego overinflated, ne. Not having stamina's a bitch isn't it, Take? The girls ain't tell you the truth, Take.

Me and my umpteen extra chromosomes would appreciate literal versions of things, so as not to confuse them in their analysis of the inane. And stop with the serial killer fantasies..."getting in a car with a stranger in a city that you don't even know". Or are you trying to admit to something you did? You'll need to post the hymen of one of your victims as proof of your crimes against humanity.
I'm trying to get into the Halloween spirit, this being Japan and all.

Gee Jack, do I need to spell everything out too? Let's see, let's say some guy goes on a business trip from Edmonton to Montreal. Let's call him "Jacques" just to keep things impersonal and hypothetical. Jacques stays at a nice hotel, goes to his convention, and hits it off with a rep from another company. Jacques doesn't know Montreal (first time out East, eh), and suggests drinks in the hotel bar. Dianne's from Saskatoon, and likes the CC. Jacques is more of a Crown Royal guy, but they get over their differences and have a nice conversation. One thing leads to another, the bar closes, and next thing you know they're having a nightcap in Jacques' room. Oo la la...

When I was on holiday in Thailand I talked to J-girl who was upset because her friend went off with a local and hadn't come back for a long time. Now chances are they were just getting it on but still to go off with a stranger in a third world country... you are asking for trouble.

Pretty good. But it's totally unrelated to the stupid J-chicks being careless in a foreign country. Jacques and Dianne both know the language and Laws of the country. They can manage. But a J-girl who doesn't speak much English will not report a crime if one is committed and if Jacques knows this then she is in more trouble than Peggy would be.

The implication being that any guy who knows he can get away with rape will. You do know that not everyone is a Jack, right?

Mike's scenario involved a dude named Jacques from Edmonton visiting Montreal.

Shouldn't that be the other way around? I thought guys named Jacques weren't allowed outside of Quebec. Wouldn't he be from Montreal, and visiting Alberta?

Actually, the law (not to mention the language) differs in la belle province, n'est-ce pas?
