So when Mary Ann Carlo encountered a masked bandit on the stairs of her home last night, she started screaming "The Ninja is here! The Ninja!" Police linked last night's incident to a string of other burglaries on Staten Island. It may mark the 16th time the borough's "Ninja Bandit" has struck since June 6...The alleged "Ninja Bandit" has absconded with jewelry, cash, and cell phones. He has come in contact with five of his victims, and while none have been seriously injured, Phil Chiolo [align=right] says he has a bruise from a run-in with marauder in his kitchen on Sept. 6.
