A ruling coalition politician admitted Tuesday he allowed a construction firm that had links to gangsters to pay 2.75 million yen in salaries for his secretaries between March 1997 and February 1998...Matsunami, formerly an amateur wrestler and "sports anthropology" professor at Senshu University, was first elected to the Lower House in 1996...Mizuho Fukushima, secretary general of the Social Democratic Party, said Matsunami's actions are unbecoming of a lawmaker
