Japanese Transgender Student

Postby Mulboyne » Tue Nov 06, 2007 1:10 am

[YT]E3LERuqcJxQ[/YT]

Here is a Japanese TV feature on Ayana Tsubaki, a very convincing transsexual who appears to be able to live a normal life. Now 23, it describes how she worked in a new half club, funded a sex change operation in Thailand a year ago and is now attending university. There are no subtitles but you can get the idea. In particular, you can hear her speaking voice which is far more convincing than most. On campus, the interviewer wonders whether "coming out" on television is a good idea given that her fellow students will all know. She replies that they would probably know sometime anyway and by going on television she can show that people like her do exist. After a few scenes showing her shopping and in a hairdresser, the clip shows the izakaya where she works part-time. It then switches to meeting with a counsellor to discuss some of the psychological challenges ahead. As if to show that she's got support, they show her meeting a few of her old schoolfriends. They say that it was clear she was different quite early on. One of the guys explains "It wasn't a question of being weird, it's just how she was" and the voiceover notes how natural they all seem together. Back in the studio, one of the female presenters says that if anyone had to choose, they would probably think she was the one who'd had the sex change.

The real burning question is, does she function like a lady?

You mean if she gets angry if you go out with the lads or forget to buy her flowers on her birthday? Probably.

You would think after spending all that money on sex change surgery, s/he would have spent a little more to remove that huge mole on her nose.

I'll leave you to it then.

She can do those raptor arms of handbag carrying which qualifies her automatically as female I think.

I think that's smart as it automatically draws away all stares from any features that could give her away, at least on first glance.

I'm curious. Could you please post some pictures of Tsukuba University girls, if it wouldn't cause any privacy problems.

Years back, I used to see the Tsukuba women's ice hockey team at the Shin Matsudo Daiei ice rink but my memory is too faded to recall what they looked like. All padded up anyway.

As far as I can tell from riding the train every day, Japanese people seem to have no concept of the ugliness of moles.

Actually, some of them at least, think they are lucky and that removing them is bad luck.

This picture was too perfect not to post alongside the homeland security threat warning. The only thing missing was the green dress. If that western chick on the right hand side of the guy was a ladyboy in a green dress I could have made something really nice with it.

Linking two FG threads, it appears from that video clip above that Ayana Tsubaki features as a model for the magazine Koakuma Ageha which is the subject here.

This might be the time to let you know that Chihiru of 5050, an up-and-coming party band, also has a Y chromosome:

The theme song for the anime "One Piece" is the 5050 song "Jungle P":
