I don't think we have the same issues...Japanese guys don't have that same "have gaijin girlfriend as accessory" complex, even though some out there to tend towards wanting a foeign girlfriend just because they are foreign, they tend to be a tad more choosey...

Don't forget advertising uses a lot of Western female models - some expect all of us to live up to that standard.
