Osim suffers stroke

Postby canman » Fri Nov 16, 2007 7:29 pm

Ivica Osim, manager of Japan's national soccer team, suffered a stroke on Friday and remains hospitalized, Japan Football Association (JFA) officials said.
That is too bad, I thought he was doing a good job with the soccer boys.
Mind you I'm not too surprised, he didn't look to be in the best of shape, and a few times I thought he was going to blow a gasket while watching the Japanese team.
Jacques Plante: "How would you like a job where, every time you make a mistake, a big red light goes on and 18,000 people boo?"

A lot of the news coverage dudes and dudettes are hinting that they don't think he is going to make it.
