Ray Harryhausen DVD Box Set Coming in December

Sci-Fi effects master Ray Harryhausen will have 15 of his films compiled in a DVD set to be released by Sony in Japan in December. A few of these films, such as "20 Million Miles to Earth" (right), have been colorized and were screened at the Tokyo International Film Festival this year. Harryhausen was famous for stop-action animation, which gave a lot of stilted movement but made Harryhausen one of the first special effects legends. FG has discussed him previously here. Sony is cranking out 8,000 of these suckers at 62,790 yen a pop. Perhaps along with a bucket of KFC, the perfect Xmas gift?
