Wait a sec. He was in town for the World Skills Championship in Shizuoka....gotta check out the results.

Canada, Korea, and Japan all won gold medals in Welding (even though the pride of Canada, Louis-Phillippe Major was ahead of the Korean and Japanese finalist on points).
Song Se Hun (Korea) took home the gold in Bricklaying, ahead of the heavily favored Werner Hopfgartner,(Austria) who suffered his second devastating upset this bricklaying season.
Ok Jin Lim took the Gold in the combined Ladies/Men's Hairdressing, although many felt that the meaning of this year's hairdressing competition was cheapened by giving out nine "Medallions of Excellence" to anyone who completely avoided the Metrosexual look.
