[/floatl]Mainichi: Louis Vuitton teams up with Japanese business to create brand-name lacquerware
Trinket boxes by luxury French brand Louis Vuitton and a traditional Wajima lacquerware business have been unveiled in Japan...The hexagonal boxes were made together with lacquerware business Kirimoto Mokkojo, and bear the well-known Louis Vuitton monogram's floral pattern. A total of 200 of the products were due to go on sale at outlets including the Kintetsu Department Store's Nara store...The goods are priced at 157,500 yen each.
