A cunning linguist describes how faulty translation software has lead to the ubiquitous mistranslation of "Fuck" into everyday Chinese signs. I thought this might be of interest to those of us who work with machine translation software.

Dunno if it is a mistranslation or a level of rudeness thing. A merchant in Hong Kong who doesn't have Fuck in his vocabulary needs to hone up on his English language skills.
