Teppanyaki Girl Group

Posing in the photograph above are Sista Five who have just released their debut CD. Akyee, Suchii, Myuu, Ryowoo and Aicoo (that's how they spell their names on the site) are sisters whose parents run a teppannyaki restaurant in Osaka. Their debut single from the new CD is a cover of the Soul Powers number "Okonomiyaki Funky Soul". The girls are third-generation Koreans and hope to build success in Japan before trying to crack the wider Asian market. The Government will probably want to lend a helping hand to see if they can't encourage a few more ambitious parents to have five kids. They are currently on a tour of Aeon shopping malls.
