[I]Short clip from Chris Marker's 1983 film "Sans Soleil". Marker directed La Jetee in 1962 and the title was picked Tomoyo Kawai as the name for her bar in Shinjuku's Golden Gai which has become a mecca for directors like Wim Wenders, Quentin Tarantino and Francis Ford Coppola.[/I]

Thanks for the clip. I watched the film in its entirety over 5 years ago, and it is definitely one of my all time favorites. The contrasts with West Africa, the voice overs, the cinemography are all very fascinating.
