RUN ON SURGICAL MASKS
The Japan Times / April 5 / 12:38am Makers of surgical masks found themselves overwhelmed not only by orders from drugstores but also by inquiries from individuals with travel plans to affected areas and from companies with overseas branches. 3M Health Care Ltd., a health products firm that makes masks capable of filtering microparticles, said it has no stock from which it can supply the general public.

Fashionable Facemasks Cover Deep Fears About VirusFriday April 4, 02:15 AM Yahoo News
Residents of Hong Kong, always quick to spot a fashion trend, are turning to colorful surgical masks to beat the blues as a deadly virus stalks the territory.
Facewear in psychedelic colors, bold prints and even polka dots are increasingly seen on the streets, in the subway and in offices as residents try to ease the daily strain of living behind a mask.
Some shrewd retailers are printing masks with cartoon characters ranging from Hello Kitty to Ultraman, while others are opting for the more classic urban look -- basic black.

I'm suprised there aren't designer masks here in Japan. At least I've never seen anyone wearing one. All the ones I see are in basic, boring white.
Is Tokyo losing it's edge as the fashion/trend mecca of Asia?!

Group warns public about faulty masks
2003-04-04 / Taiwan News
As Taiwanese residents were rushing to buy masks to protect themselves from SARS, a consumer group warned consumers yesterday to be aware of surgical mask quality.
The Consumer Foundation announced that in a survey of 14 brands of masks on the market claiming to have activated carbon filters, 11 were found not to have the filters.
After receiving complaints from consumers, the foundation conducted tests on fourteen brands with only three making the grade. Others, including three Japanese brands, were found to contain a piece of black-dyed cloth to take the place of an authentic carbon filter.

That's dang smart considering the huge amount of foam padding in asian bras.

The art of making mountains out of mole-hills is quite advanced here. Makes it difficult for gals like me to find a decent fit...

But then there is always.

Apocalyptic Bra

Triumph International Japan, is cashing in on the nation's doomsday boom with a hi-tech bra that alerts its wearer to incoming missiles.

A bit old but hey..

I tried to find the story from yesterday about Triumphs Oedo Bra.. but can't google it...

I know. I see no difference between some of the new styled masks and a Japanese bra. With a bra placed properly on the face, you can have a mask AND a yamaca!.. (sp?)

Yeah. And what's the deal with J, or H, or bigger cups! I could be wrong, but don't the sizes only go to D, then DD, etc.? Are there Z cups here? Hey look; My dick is 12 meters in Japan!

I got into an arguement with a female friend the other day about Japanese cup sizes. She said the sizes are one scale bigger. For example, a western A cup is B here.. I said that's like saying I'm 7 inches in the States, but 10 inches in Japan! (actual size not revealed to protect privacy  )

I like boobs.. I even like just saying 'boobs'.. 8O <--Doesn't that icon look like boobs? :D

OK. I'm done.
