Japanese Consulate Under Seige

Looking on YouTube to see if there was any coverage of the anti-whaling demonstration outside the Japanese Consulate in Melbourne, I can across this video of a group calling themselves Animal Liberation Victoria who occupied the offices just after Christmas.

I didn't know they kept the whales in the consulate!

And, there's more from today:

Anti-whaling protesters converge on Japan consulate

Around 200 anti-whaling campaigners have protested outside the Japanese consulate in Melbourne today calling for an end to Japan's whaling practices.

On the steps if the consulate protesters unfurled a Japanese flag which was wrapped around a woman covered in red, to represent whales being killed by the Japanese in southern waters.

Last year the Federal Government announced its plans to check-up on Japan's whaling fleet.

The Government is planning to use a civilian-crewed Customs ship, the Oceanic Viking, armed with two machine guns to monitor Japanese fleets.

The ship is specially-fitted out for the Southern Ocean and has sophisticated surveillance equipment that will be used to collect evidence for possible international challenges against the Japanese whaling.

Noah Hannibal from Animal Liberation Victoria says the Australian Government's position to monitor whaling is not enough.

"They've sent a ship down there and what the ship is doing is taking photographs of the whalers killing whales they should actually be stopping them," he said.

He says protests will become more frequent until whaling in the Southern Ocean is bought to an end.

"They're going to start happening more and more around the world. Japan really should be ashamed of themselves," he said.

"We want to send a strong message to the Japanese government."

Japan says their whaling program is for scientific purposes.

My prediction is that the limpdicked uyoku here don't have the balls to harass the Aussie Embassy.

Anti-whaler always try appealing to sensationalism rather than logic or evidence. This is typical.
WE NEED LOGICAL THINKING.

But personally I dont mind whether whale hunting is ban or not, though.
I wholeheartedly got tired of dickheads who believe themself good people and lack logical brain.

Hey guys I've got a great idea, let's destroy relations between us and one of our largest and most important economic allies by causing an international incident! Who cares if a few thousand cattle farmers go out of business!? SAVE THE WHALES!

Seriously though, I've written a further critique of this on my blog.

Needless to say these activists are a bunch of douchebags.

All this kind of pointless protesting does is create tensions between the white Australian and Japanese communities in Australia. Protesting in the offices of the Japanese consulate isn't going to achieve anything but it sure is great for publicity!

So, Australia is a White nation?
Racist~!

I think the Asian chick in the video is the same one who doused herself in red paint for the protest earlier this week.

Yeah, I'd hit it.... ;)

Mr Kobayashi: First, I experienced a sort of overpowering feeling whenever I was in the room with foreigners, not to mention a powerful body odor coming from them. I don't know whether it was a sweat from the heat or a cold sweat, but I remember I was sweating whenever they were around.
