JAPAN-BOUND entertainers, known locally as "Japayuki," who obtained their artist record books (ARBs) during the term of resigned Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) chief Dante Liban may have to delay their departures a bit.
The TESDA has asked the Japanese embassy to suspend issuance of working visas to holders of 2,100 ARBs that the TESDA inventory team considers questionable.
