Japanese names

When reading the figure skating thread it dawned on me that I remember all the names of Japanese girls I have ever met; first and last names. But none of the guys' names. Is it the same for others?

(Question is intentionally open ended)

I would say that I remember women's details a lot more clearly than men's.

So I'm a lot more familiar with lady's names than blokes. But I don't remember their last names excet if I needed to use it.
