Shoes!

Anyone tell me which is a good shop or brand for stocking big sizes? I'm going to be at least a JP Size 30.

Had trouble everywhere I've looked. Got some trainers/sneakers from an Adidas shop but I'm in need of some nice work shoes.

Cheers

James

Taro also mentions Costco and Sports Authority in the same thread.

I'd order from Amazon.com.

But if you are buying on economy, I'd recommend Sport Authority. Sometimes, you'll get lucky. I bought a pair of size 15 Nike hockey skates for ichi-man-en there. Basically, if it has sat and noone is buying, they'll drop the price. Especially with the larger sizes.
I will not abide ignorant intolerance just for the sake of getting along.

Thanks guys,

That Big B site has a pretty decent European range. Some pretty boring, and some pretty out-there styles but I'm sure I can find something suitable.

Thanks again

I checked and that's equivalent to a US size 12. That's not very big, almost all men's shoes here in the US are made up to size 12. And they usually stop there. I know this because I wear 13EEE.

Now if you really had big feet like me, you'd have to go to a specialty shop, even here in the US. When I go to a regular shoe store, I ask what they have in 13EEE and usually they have nothing. So I go to Altman's in Chicago every couple of years to pick up some new shoes. They say they carry up to size 19. Unfortunately they don't have a website for online sales.
