Fish imports changing our sense of taste

...But the question is: Does our sense of taste remain healthy and uncorrupted?
This is an age in which the practice of opening imported fish... I fear that the cookery and the refined sense of taste that have underpinned Japan's fish-eating culture are not passing down to the next generation.
If so, members of the next generation will be unable to appreciate the delicate taste of ayu's intestines, a pleasure expressed in Tenko Kawasaki's haiku poem: 'I begin eating ayu's entrails / By opening my mouth small'
