I didn't know that anything good ever came out of Turkey that wasn't stolen from the Armenians, including carpet weaving and silk.

They're not really that bad. The hand weave rugs run from around $400US to $1000US, which will suffice for most Japanese sized rooms. The machine weave are quite a bit cheaper yet. But they are good.
