Railway Cosplay Izakaya

Jumping on the alleged tetsuko boom, a new "railway izakaya" will soon open in Soto Kanda, near Akihabara. Called Little TGV, it is operated by the same company who run the nearby cosplay bar Fushigitei as well as many other gimmicky places featured in this thread. They seem to have skimped on the interior which bears little resemblance to anything railway-related. Instead, the waitresses dress up as train drivers and trolley girls while serving "Ebisu Station Beer", "Yamanote Line Cocktails" and ekiben - station lunch boxes. A large screen shows various railway videos. I think they are running out of ideas.

That's sooo lame. They could have at least setup a model train that would deliver your food or go round in circles with condiments like a sushi train. They must be running out of ideas.

I bet the girls don't know squat about trains...just how pasmo works and stuff like that....That is like the lamest idea ever. Although it might be enticing for the groping oyisan....

This idea reminds me of the deserted railway inspired bar that was featured in the drama Tokkyu Tanaka San Go starring Koki Tanaka and Chiaki Kuriyama.
