Thanks for the explanation Iraira. Yeah Ta--a broke my heart. Job? It's hard to find one. I have been looking for a job for 8 years. I think I will give up looking and live at yoyogi park. Oh, you heard about my brother? It's pretty sad but I think he will pull through. My other brother gained two more inches and increase in girth. :-)

more from the article..
In a 1999 profile in The Charleston Gazette, Tucker talked about how he eventually got involved with computer graphics and video.

"I told Apple-Japan that I wanted to be an evangelist for QuickTime [Apple's media system]," he said at the time. "They thought it was a great idea. So I and another American ended up starting Imagine 21, the first multimedia production center in Japan, an authorized Apple center, as a way to seed the market with their products."

Less than two weeks ago, Tucker signed a contract with a computer company to be its representative to all Asian countries
, his brother said.
He was married to Yumiko Yamazaki, a prominent jewelry designer in Japan, Chip Tucker said.

Scott Tucker also had his gem-grading license and was involved in his wife's business.

Chip Tucker said he would attend his brother's second funeral ceremony Wednesday in Japan. He is to be cremated. Part of his ashes will stay in Japan and part will be spread in San Diego, where his mother lives, he said.

Chip Tucker said the family is working with police and still learning what happened.

"It's difficult because you lose a brother," he said. "But it's not difficult in the sense that, everyone over here is pretty solid about what's going on.

"We are letting the police do their work. There is not a lot of anger. We want to do what's best both for the loss of a brother as well as considering the man who was involved...

They had an aggressive marketing campaign in the mid 1960's that advertized themselves as sophisticated and yet reasonably priced. This eventually grew into people direclt asking for it, "I'd love to have some more of your TWA tea". and finally, it was shortened by some Madison Avenue ex to "More TWAT, please."

Iraira, I honestly don't know whether or not you're trying to be funny (I also find it extermely hard to believe that a native English speaker from North America--like Jack--has no idea what the word twat means). Anyway, here's wikipedia's explanation of the word twatwhich is much different than Iraira's. And yes, I think Jack qualifies.

Jack what frigging planet do you live on? Definitions of words are not decided by polling for a consensus of some random internet site. If you'd had half a brain and decided to click on the link that I provided you would have found "its meaning in English is usually that of 'idiot' or 'stupid/idiotic/tasteless' (male person)" and then next to that definition you would have found a picture of you.

Yeah, I was trying to be funny this morning, but I kinda hoped that Jack would believe it and ask some Alice or Flo for some "TWAT", then get the crap beaten out of him by Mel.

Hey Gilligan, relax. I think that those with half a brain are all those who posted comments since I asked what's a twat. Look at who's missing from posting since I asked that question and those are the ones with brain. Let see who else I can bait on another thread. Move on folks. Now we know who the real idiots are.

TAKE :Because unfortunately this incident is trivial for Japanese

Yeah it is sad that japanese don't give a fuck about anyone other than themselves as a society, mostly the racist politicians, cops and bent over media that feed the myth they are peace loving etc.

So maybe your country should see a doctor although as you aren't japanese (not pure anyway) you can stay home.

something not trivial and worth every media second is some rotten Gyoza

One thing is for sure, the killer won't get hardly any time for that. Whether some one is asking for it or not, another human being was murdered.

Interesting comparison

Postby canman » Mon Mar 10, 2008 12:40 pm

There is an American translator on Misawa base, who was caught stealing statues and other articles from Temples in the surrounding area. He was then selling them on Ebay and some other auction sites. Yesterday there was almost a full page story in the local newspaper about how terrible his actions were, and how he had defiled the temples and shrines by stealing from them.
Now I don't condone what he did, but it seems killing a person is a lot worse than what this schmuck did, but the killing didn't warrant even a mention in the press, but this foreigner stealing from shrines and temples did. Double standard, I think so.

That is interesting Canman.

But I can understand a drunken brawl resulting in a death, and while I find it to be a terrible end result, It doesn't shock me in the same way that the theft and sale of religious artifacts does. I find that to be much more newsworthy and reprehensible. But then, maybe my value system is fucked - it's entirely possible.

Here is bit more info...
Tokyo killing of Charleston native 'seeded in past events'
Charleston Observer
A Charleston native killed in a Tokyo bar last weekend went there because he was angry about the noise, his brother said Thursday.

"Based on the information we have, Scott went into the bar with an attitude," Chip Tucker said. "He was upset with the noise and commotion of what was going on, which was a routine. ... He was not there for the party."

Atsushi Watanabe, 29, a disc jockey at the club, is charged with killing Scott Tucker, according to the Web site.

"This was a specialized technique intended to do harm," Chip Tucker said of how Watanabe allegedly killed his brother. "It's a murder case. Everything points to that being the situation."

The club was known for parties, noise and fights, Chip Tucker said. "His wife feels part of [Scott Tucker's actions] were seeded in past events," he said....more...

The theft of the Mona Lisa would be a much bigger news than a murder. Quit demanding special attention just because you are a foreigner. Get that chip off your shoulder. Double standard? Absolutely not. That's how news works.
