Manner of Yokozuna Asashoryu Is in Question

Asashoryu is a Yokozuna, the highest ranking, sumo wrestler, and is from Mongolia. However, his indecent manner in the sumo rink, at a drill hall and in everyday life is becoming an issue.
Asashoryu had a match with a wrestler who also came from Mongolia on May 19 and he lost the match. Asashoryu attempted to contest his loss to the referees. He also stared at his opponent. All of this was televised . . . His manner does not fit the Yokozuna position.

I was at the match yesterday and he was a model sumo

It was actually really exciting during the Kaio bout - but he lost which made the mad mongol the overall winner.

My favourite trophy was given out by a guy in a full white dishadash complete with the head scarf (not sure of it's name) he was the only guy wearing slippers on the Dohyo..

But he did some less then yokozuna tactics this basho, like a leg trip on day 12. To be yokuzuna comes with responsibilities. When Akebono was king he made people respect him, don't you think?

On the other hand, like a lot of Japanese culture, it's largly surface crap which really doesn't matter.

Anyone wonder why Musoyama beat Kaio so easily? Can you say "best friends" and "demotion"? That's a friend for you.... take the loss so your buddy doesn't get sent down to sekiwake.
