Here's a video of an attempted robbery at a convenience store in Shimbashi Tokyo early on Thursday morning. Only one employee, a 55 year old man, is in the shop when a man bursts in wielding a knife. The employee shouts "Dorobo!! (thief) and backs into the corner. When the robber asked the guy to give him the money, he says he can't open the till because he is only a part-time employee (arbeito). This bemuses the robber who tries to open it himself but then the employee roars "I'm a part-timer" and climbs on the counter which causes the robber to flee the shop. The video clip shows that the TV studio presenters can't quite stop themselves from smiling and some 2chers appear to be taking the guy's "Boku Arbeitooo!" as a rallying cry. He wasn't hurt in the incident.
