A teacher and seven boys from a public junior high school in Miyagi Prefecture face charges after another schoolboy was brutally injured when the students shoved a metal rod into his anus to punish a badminton blunder, police said Tuesday.
Even now the 16-year-old boy allegedly attacked in the incident cannot function without an artificial anus.
