Apparently his ancestors loved Japan so much that they left and traveled half way around the world.

Of course, I doubt that we will ever see a foreigner (of non-Japanese decent) in Japan promoted to the top positions in the Japanese military, government, or civil service. Which is really unfortunately, considering that people of Japanese decent have become heads of militaries and even heads of states (including President) in other countries.

As a Portuguese born Canadian with dual citizenship, who has many close relatives in Brazil, I would like to see prominent foreign Japanese, including Lt. Brigadier Junichi Saito, speak out against Japanese discrimination of foreigners in Japan. Let the Japanese in Japan know just how racist their government and society really is. The Japanese need to be publicly shamed about their racism. If public international pressure helped South Africa, maybe there can still be hope for Japan.

Because Japanese Brazilian and Japanese Perubian have done huge diligent contributions to their immigrated countries, most of whose latin nationals are lazy and slothful. And Japanese Americans, as you know, voluntarily sacrificed their own life and soul in WW2.

On the other hand, how have gaijins contributed to Japan society?
A LITTLE BIT!!!
Reversely vulture gaijin dudes, who always pretend to be pro-Japanese, have continued stealing Japanese assets.
If you gaijins want to be recognized by us, do more contributions to J-society.

Other than carpet bombing Japan 50 years ago, I'm pretty sure we nuked you a few times too. Now, if that doesn't make us your your masters and overlords, then fuck me, I don't know what does. Remember that!

You're fucked in the head if you think Japan is remotely like South Africa during apartheid. Idiot.

On a sidenote re the movie: A lot of Afrikaners are saying revenge is still in store for them and are fencing themselves inside their gated communities, getting armed to the teeth and shooting to kill... The day Mandela dies both sides with show the world what a fucked country SA really is.

I like to think I was smart enough to know that Japan <> SA when I was 23... Maybe I am deluding myself though.
