Don't worry folks, this isn't one of those "Hey, I like anime and beat off to hentai anime... how do I live in Japan?!?!?!?!"
This is, instead one of those other threads that go like "Hey, many of you know me, and when I was 'removed' from Japan, I took university classes to return. In one of my classes at present, I will be writing a 7-9 page paper on the political issues surrounding foreign immigration into Japan in hopes to work there."
Now I have already done my time in the concrete jungle, however I'm looking for links that some of you may have squirreled away with regards to why one person might need a degree to live in Japan, what the governer of Tokyo has to say about foreigners as a whole (hole? heh) and why it is simply difficult for us to get a work visa.
Any help would be appreciated as I have a week to write this paper. For what it's worth, this is going to be for an Intro To Political Studies class that I'm taking over the summer course load merely as an elective. Three cheers for six summer classes, three hours per day each. Pff, if I didn't burn out in Yokohama from working 42 days in a row, I won't burn out from taking six summer classes.
