The Asahi has a report (Japanese) about Beishin Onigiri Kitchen which has just opened in Kanezawa. The onigiri are freshly made and on the first day of business they sold 920 against a target or 500. The convenience of the drive-through set-up was outweighed somewhat by the rush of customers. Even with 10 people making the rice balls, some were left queueing for up to an hour.
