[quote="IkemenTommy"]I saw the funniest headline on one of the train ads the other day: "&#12502]

If that is the case, I had a couple of drinks with two gals in Roppongi a couple of nights ago, who should not be entitled to any rights whatsoever. However, being the kind and considerate gentleman that I am, when they inquired as to how they could contact me in the future, I gave them GuyJean's keitai number.

Well, here they are:

Image
Back: Lisa, Jill, Marissa & Kimberly
Front: Kie & Lindy

You can read their bios via the Nisei Week website here.

For what it's worth (having got none right in about the last 3 years), my pick is Lindy:

It's weird but I think just day to day life in America must erode their beauty. Any random six girls in Aomori would better that group.

You just don't like them because they seem unfamiliar and un-Japanese because they've all got straight teeth.

You're right on that AK and it would force me to go against all my religious principles, but I would still breechload any of them......

My pick is Jill. Her pic on the website is protected from right clicking, otherwise I would have posted her headshot here.

Jill is a graduate from the same school as I did so she can get my close runner-up vote. Girls like that were never in my frickin classes though.

I vote for Jennifer Yoko Akamine on the bottom right.
However, did you notice all but one of the candidates had already graduated for some but NONE of them had jobs even though their average age is 24.
(I never thought about it before, but beauty competition candidates have to unemployed and not have any prospects.)

It seems as though the candidates are "sponsored" by companies and organizations. If their daddy in on the board of the LaLa County Nikkei Coordinating Council, a girl is simply placed on the Nisei Week Queen's Candidate roster.

If they keep "selecting" girls of this quality every year, they should put an end to this once and for all.

Guys, no one's asking you to pick a wife!
And let's be honest, lads, do you think any of them would be falling over themselves to date any of you?
The point is to just pick who you think will be crowned the Queen.
Just like betting on a horse race, no one expects you to date the jockey or horse!
But try and remember that these girls are probably adept at navigating the internet, and this is a public forum.

I've dated girls that were less-than-par before, but I would not bend over backwards (iow, get piss drunk and hammered) and lower my standards to hook up with this batch. I'm sorry.

If these girls had the ego, they will get a dose of rude awakening.

Anyways I'm all for giving young ethnic Japanese-American girls a honourable rooting.
