7 million out of a country of 300+ million for a highly promoted show such as this is not a "hit". I watched about 5 minutes of it and marveled how inanely simplistic it was with the only "tension" being the trash talking between the two teams, which as well all know, is oh so Japanese. I'd be surprised if got half that many viewers after the 3nd week there isn't that much reason to tune in again. Seeing stupid people being knocked into a pool isn't all that exciting repeat viewing.

I just saw a promo for the next episode..it features one team of dwarfs vs a team of body builder women...Given its fox, I'm not surprised but I would have thought they would have saved dwarfs for at least sweeps.

maybe i'm just blonde today, but this is offensive why?

any time i ever see an american portrayed here, they are stupid, clumsy, uncultured, etc. yet the japanese can't get enough of ridiculous american tv shows like sex and the city and are spending loads on levis.

the grass is always greener...
