decafinated coffee?

Help! I just moved to Okazaki (1hr or so from Nagoya) and in the suupaa's that I shop at, I cant seem to find any decaf coffee beans or instant. Is there a special word for that over here? Is there a place in Japan I can mailorder it from? Its pretty pricey to mail order from USA! Anyone know about this??

Aside from the "huh, why bother with coffee then", which after all is yet another expression of "each to his/her own"...

What you want to look for is instant coffee that has non-caffeine written on the label. It's not usually called de-caf here unless it's in a foreign supermarket.

Can you read katakana? If so, you should find it no problem. I know Nescafe have a version of theirs in most supermarkets...

Thanks Halfnip. Pictures mean a thousand words, especially Japanese ones which I am only just learning. It looks like the products are out there. I am not pregnant that I know of but like the stuff anyway. BB
