I`m not sure how long he lived in OZ. The japanese Gov. will make exeptions on dual citizenship(Fujimori)
But lets at least give credit to the Australian media for not trying to pass the buck, they named an "Australian Arrested for Human Trafficking" and didnt try to suggest he was japanese.
A far cry from the japanese media claiming Obara(I think) was korean
