Here's a photograph of beach volleyball player Miwa Asao picking up this year's "best dressed eyes" award for a sports star. It's difficult to imagine a shot which less illustrates its subject.

Nice shots Gill.
As I was rying to point out in my thread about Nagoya earlier this week, your first photo is evidence that the city has its fair share of sexy tarts. Did you get any snaps of the dickhead charisma-man foreigner cunts that seem to have plagued the city?;)

No, I didn't take any self-portraits.

this is what the "whitewash" asians back home look like. For some reason if they don't speak an asian language the "pure" groups won't accept them and they have to chill with the hood rats.

As long as I have ever observed, Kokujinophile Japanese women are more busu than Hakujinophile Japanese women.

Well, if you told me they were black, I'd believe you. There are a lot of black women with features like that.

Now if the picture were in color, I'd know they weren't

Not even sure of that. As you can see, especially on the one on the left, they have tanned themselves heavily to look black. Part of the blackfacers subculture within the hip hop movement in the nineties. I don't think this phenomenon exist anymore.

A friend of mine went down there. He said it was a fucking rip off. 3500 yen for a stein of beer and you had to put down a 2000 yen deposit for the stein. The Japanese know how to take the fun out of anything.

Huh? I only paid 1,000 yen for the beer with 1,000 yen deposit for the glass.. At the end of the night, return your glass and get your 1,000 yen back.

It works out to about 1,000 yen for a pint; what we usually pay at any local pub.. Your friend must've been drinking the Super Superior beer. ;)

The Craft Beer Festival in Sumida-ku was a better deal. 3200 yen entry, which got you a nice half-pint glass and ten tickets. Each beer sample was one ticket for a half-pint, and the glass was yours to keep. So five pints (of some pretty excellent beer) at 640 yen each, plus a free glass. The punk bagpiper there was pretty good, too. Only downside was that they ran out after only a few hours.
