Edwards was the most liberal of any candidate in the caucuses or primaries. Decades of conservatism can't be remedied by bipartisanism, it can only be beaten back by liberalism.
If Edwards happens to be a libertine too, well good for him. At least he's not a sanctimonious hypocrite like McSame. Edwards admitted the error of his ways and apologized.
