Takashi Murakami's Agency Goes Into The Film Business

Kaikai Kiki, an artist agency run by Takashi Murakami, will next month be releasing a short film called Nobody Dies. It is based on a series of graphic designs by the artist who goes by the name of "Mr" (mister) and features five schoolgirls taking part in a survival game. Murakami serves as an executive producer on the project while "Mr." directs. It looks terrible but that wouldn't be new territory for Murakami.

Great, the charlatan faked his way through the art world and now we get to see him do the same to the already suffering Japanese film world. Let's just hope Miike (Japan's best film hope) doesn't go for the cash and do some unholy collaboration with this guy.
