Victor Japan has unveiled new prototype eco-speakers called kirikabu for Tokyo Designers Week. Endgadget says that they "combine your choice of potted plants with multi-directional speakers consisting of a woofer, and left- and right-channel stereo speakers powered by an internal amplifier"

not really sure what to say about this product as "Eco"....I like how Japan has taken to finding new ways to make money by splashing the word "Eco" on just about everything...maybe everyone/everywhere has.

that has got to be one of the ugliest examples of 'design' that i've seen in a long time. what's next? duvets that have food processors built in? televisions with baby bassinets?
