These kinds of women have ZERO TACT, and will basically get the infamous "What do you do?" and "Where do you live?" questions out the way as soon as you approach them. Any gaijin dude in Japan explicitly KNOWS what this interregation sounds like.

I have tried many ways of dealing with this in a sensitive way - but what works the best is to start out by telling them your life story and how you got to where you are... and dragging this out for as LONG as possible without ever getting to the point. If they are interested enough in you as a person to go this far - good for you. Mostly what happens though, is that the women get impatient and keep DEMANDING you get to the point - they are on the clock and working the room looking for targets.

If they interrupt my story or fail to show interest - I get up and leave.... if they haven't already rudely done that half way through my story.

...on the other hand, the intelligence of these women is negligible. A few friends of mine who shall go unnamed have successfully played a few by lying that they were investment bankers and the like. Statistically, pulling women becomes much easier then. Just don't take them back to your shitty gaijin ghetto though.

They may not think they are ho's, but they really are. Actually a real hooker has more integrity than these POS. What you see is what you get and there are no dispicable games or lies. I would much rather be friends with a hooker and wouldn't piss on a gold digger if she was on fire.

I guess I sound bitter, but I have seen first hand how this degenerates into grubby law suits when the gold digger can't get what she wants. There are these sorts of trash in every culture. Japan doesn't have the monopoly on them. Plus, she never has to be stuck in a long-term thing where she has to cover up her true feelings with fake smiles, affection (and orgasms) every single day with the same guy, which sounds like a nightmare existence to me; I hate sounding trite, but money, expensive toys, don't repair an unhappy or even just plain boring relationship.

If the girls are out to meet somebody they like without a consideration of the wallet of the guy then this is normal. A girl who just sees a big wallet or is hunting for a big wallet or any free loading activity then this chick is a gold digger, closet ho'. Perhaps you should revisit your choice of the verb "snatch".

And don't forget there are much more Japanese girls who know how to appreciate the finer things in life. They know the difference in brie and camembert, they can tell prosciutto from bayonne or from ham. They know what Mont Blanc and when you order vongole in a restaurant they don't stare blankly at you. Japanese girls, generally, are a lot more fun to go out with, especially the experienced cougars. What always surprised me about Heartland is how average and old the girls there were.
